Thank you for approaching me with this idea. Be sure to check out the post she wrote for me on my blog. On that blog, I recently wrote a blog post on overthinking. So, I also wanted to provide some advice regarding how you can deal with it. These activities are always able to put my mind at ease and hopefully allow you to do the same. So let's jump into the list!

  • Meditate

  • Sleep

  • Take a walk

  • Do some journaling

  • Take a break from social media

  • Exercise

  • Get lost in your thoughts

  • Thymus tap (Look it up! I found this technique a few months back and it is magic!)

  • Listen to some music

  • Light some candles

  • Take a few deep breaths

  • Pursue your favorite hobbies

  • Watch YouTube

  • Do some light reading

  • Declutter and organize your living space

  • Go through your camera roll

  • Text friends you feel comfortable with

  • Make a list of everything you're thankful for

  • Watch a movie

  • Play a game with your family

  • Drink more water

  • Chew some gum

  • Have a good cry/laugh

  • Download Headspace or Calm and start using those apps

  • Give yourself a positive self-talk

I hope these ideas will help you destress. I know most of these ideas sound overused, but they do work, and I encourage everyone to try them.
